Hollywood's insatiable desire to wring the most money possible out of every film by turning everything into pop-up versions of the original has quite possibly reached its apex with the April 4th theatrical release of James Cameron's 15-year-old TITANIC in 3D. Our personal favorite aspect of the revamped re-release: Kate Winslet admitting that, by this point, Celine Dion's My Heart Will Go On makes the actress feel "like throwing up." So we've got that in common.
With their better halves sobbing in the next theater over, the guys will be yukking it up to AMERICAN REUNION, quite possibly the most unnecessary sequel of the decade. If you must, though, you can catch up on the adult escapades of the AMERICAN PIE crew in wide release April 6.
As for us, we're going to try to hunt down a showing of the limited April 6 release COMIC-CON EPISODE IV: A FAN'S HOPEs and get our fangirl on.
